About DevStringTools

Why we built this

Developer string tools exist in abundance. Most are cluttered, slow, server-dependent, or paywalled. We wanted something different: fast, beautiful, and private.

DevStringTools runs entirely in your browser. Your text never touches our servers. There is no account, no tracking, and no quota.

How it works

Every tool is a pure TypeScript function. The UI is a thin React shell that renders live previews as you type. The site is a static export deployed on Cloudflare Pages.

Technology

• Next.js 15 (App Router, static export)
• TypeScript — strict mode, full type coverage
• Tailwind CSS
• Vitest + Playwright for testing
• Cloudflare Pages for deployment
